Annual Meeting:  Haliburton today – Pot Luck Lunch and meeting following the service

WANTED: Used or surplus Bibles, hymn books and other Christian books. A representative from ‘Christian Salvage’ will pick them up later this week. This mission sends these materials to Africa, where there is much demand, by ship. Let’s clean out the cupboards!

Ingoldsby UC is having a Valentine’s Breakfast – Sunday, February 9^th, following the service (around 10) – peameal bacon, scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, toast, coffee, tea, juice. Cost will be by donation. Everyone welcome. 

The Highlands Male Chorus, under the direction of Melissa Stephens, presents “Winter Interlude” at the Haliburton UC Sunday February 9, 2020 at 3:00 pm. General Admission: Adults $15.; Children (under 16) $5; Family $35. Tickets available at Cranberry Cottage, Haliburton and Pharmasave Drugstore, Minden.

Ingoldsby UC

Haliburton UC

Pot Luck Lunch: We will be having Pot Luck Lunch today, annual meeting following. Help is needed with clean up. Thanks.

Stewardship and Mission Offering: The extra monthly Mission for February is Effect Hope (Leprosy Mission). We thank you for your support and ask that you mark your envelope when giving to this extra mission. Take note of the Stewardship and Mission bulletin board in the foyer. Information will be posted as it becomes available.

Prayer List: A few copies of the prayer list will be printed and put on the black table / desk in foyer for anyone who wishes to take it home to pray over. The copies will be there on Sunday only.

2020 envelopes are ready for pick-up. They are located in the narthex (back of church). NOTE: If your mailing address has changed since last year, please email Diane Blanchard or call 705-457-1604.

Bible studies:

For a time of study, prayer and fellowship, please join us:

• Wednesday Morning Bible Study in the library 10 – 11:30 a.m.
• Fridays: Women to Women Bible Study in the library from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. All women are welcome to join us at any time. For info call the office 705-457-1891.

Library: The library is open during office hours except when being used for meetings. The librarian is available Fridays from 10 to 11:30 a.m. to help in choosing a book, DVD or teaching material (holidays excluded).

Coffee is available every Sunday before church in the foyer outside of the Fellowship Room.  All are welcome to partake and enjoy!
