May
May is Manse Month for the Haliburton Pastoral Charge, and so it is also HUC’s Monthly Mission. The upkeep of the manse is the responsibility of all churches in the charge, and each year in May, the Manse Committee asks church members to prayerfully consider contributing to the manse account to support repairs. For details visit the Manse Month page.
May 12 – June 16
Formula for Success Baby Bottle Campaign. This annual fundraiser for the Pregnancy Care and Family Support Centre runs from Mother’s Day to Father’s Day. The PCFSC is 100% donor-supported and has seen proof that “Your $$ + PCFSC = Changed Lives.” To donate you can pick up a baby bottle at Haliburton UC and fill it or use a cheque or EFT (electronic funds transfer) or use your credit card online via the PCFSC website at haliburtonpregnancycentre.ca. Filled bottles are accepted all year long.

Pentecost Sunday – Gospel Singing and Communion Services. Lochlin UC’s service begins at 10:00 a.m. At Haliburton UC, singing begins at 10:30 a.m. The service begins at 11:15 a.m. and will be live streamed on YouTube. Those watching online are invited to join in by having bread and wine or juice on hand.

Contemporary Service and Pot Luck Lunch at Haliburton UC. The lunch follows the 11:15 a.m. service.
Sunday, June 2
Children’s Service (aka Sunday School): Services are held on the first Sunday of the month at 9 a.m. at Haliburton United Church. For more information call the church office at 705-457-1891.
