Effective global emergency response is a critical step toward healing in the world, and it seems there has never been a greater need for it.

The United Church of Canada (UCC) oversees such responses through the Act Now branch of its Social Action program. Through this program, UCC volunteers partner with other organizations to coordinate effective support for those in need in Canada and around the world.
