Today: Formula for Success baby bottle campaign to raise funds for the Pregnancy Care & Family Support Centre – this is the last day to return your bottle to the church. Tax receipts are issued. For details visit haliburtonpregnancycentre.ca.

Online Scripture Study: This ecumenical study group held Tuesdays is on summer vacation. Meetings will resume in mid-September.

Monday, June 20: Construction begins at Haliburton United Church to repair the foundation on the north side after a one-year delay. The work is being funded through a grant and bequests. A section of the parking lot will be marked off until the work is done (date TBD).

Friday, June 24: Aging Together as Community – a documentary screening and discussion at 6:00 p.m. at Haliburton United Church on topics such as working together for extraordinary long-term care. Volunteer drivers are needed for the Wheels of Hope program for cancer patients travelling to and from treatments. Contact the Canadian Cancer Society at cancervolunteer.ca or 1-888-939-3333.

Sundays: Regular services at all churches and online via livestream on YouTube at 11:15 a.m.

Minds in Motion at Haliburton UC is now on summer vacation. This Alzheimer’s Society program will return in September.

Wednesdays from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.: Women to Women Bible Study. Based through Haliburton UC, participants share their concerns, pray and study the Word using a simple study method. Currently meetings are held on Zoom. New participants are welcome, whether on or off web camera or by phone, even just to listen in. For more information email Lisa.
