March 31 to April 18: 2nd Annual Haliburton County Stations of the Cross Tour. It is the hope of the local churches that individuals and families could enjoy a drive-by tour of our beautiful region, while taking time to reflect and prepare our hearts for this season of Lent and Easter, by celebrating the sacrificial love of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection with a “Stations of the Cross Tour” featuring local art. Tuesday, April 5: Minds in Motion starts a new season, running Tuesdays from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Haliburton UC. An Alzheimer’s Society program designed to provide physical activity and mental and social stimulation. $30/couple for 8 weeks. Call Jennifer at 705-748-5131 x225.
Friday, April 15: Good Friday Cantata “The Rose of Calvary” live at 9:30 a.m. at Highland Hills United Church in Minden and online at 11:15 a.m. (no services at Haliburton Pastoral Charge churches). Presented by members of the HHUC and Haliburton UC choirs under the direction of Melissa Stephens.
Sunday, April 17: Ingoldsby UC reopens.
Sunday, April 17: Easter Sunday Communion services at all churches and online. Viewers are invited to join in by having bread and juice or wine on hand.
Tuesday, April 19: Haliburton Pastoral Charge Official Board Meeting at 2 p.m. The meeting will be held in person at Haliburton United Church and via Zoom by video and phone. Details will be emailed. For more information call the office at 705-457-1891.

Sundays: Regular services at Lochlin UC and Haliburton UC and online services at 11:15 a.m. Ingoldsby UC will reopen April 17.
Monthly mission for March for Haliburton UC: Hellenic Ministries. For details about this organization and to learn how to donate, visit the Monthly Missions page on the HUC website.
Tuesdays from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.: Online Scripture Study. This ecumenical study group meets using the Haliburton UC Zoom feed. There is no homework nor study preparation. Please contact Jean Schlicklin Tyler by phone at 705-457-2214 or email Jean for the meeting link.
Wednesdays from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.: Women to Women Bible Study. Based through Haliburton UC, participants share their concerns, pray and study the Word using a simple study method. Currently meetings are held on Zoom. There’s no need to be on screen or to participate in discussions, and there is no homework. For more information email Lisa.
Support for online music lessons by Youth Unlimited: YU helps youths learn to play a new instrument and learn the message of Jesus. Each youth involved is currently paying half of the $300 cost for 10 lessons. Please consider donating $150 or providing a bursary of the full cost for a youth who does not have the means.
