Virtual Sunday School: During the COVID-19 pandemic, we’re offering a virtual Sunday School program that will encourage kids in their faith. Materials are emailed to parents, grandparents or caregivers weekly and then we feature submitted photos of the children and their artwork during Sunday services. If you’re interested in participating, visit the Virtual Sunday School page.
Tuesdays from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.: Scripture Study. This independent study group currently meets using the Haliburton UC Zoom feed. Participants pray with the reading for the day. There is no homework or preparation of the Sunday lectionary reading. It is an opportunity to dig deeper into the Bible, learning and sharing tools of Scripture study. Participants can attend as often as they like. To receive the meeting link, please email Jean Schicklin Tyler.
Wednesdays from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.: Women to Women Bible Study. Based at Haliburton UC, participants share their lives and concerns, pray together and study the Word using a simple study method. Currently meetings are held via Zoom. There’s no need to be on screen or to participate in discussions, and there is no homework. New participants are welcome. For more information email Lisa.
