Hi all,

From emails and phone conversations this week it appears everyone is staying home and safe and healthy. I’ve been going to the church office most days but staying quite cloistered. Lynne is sometimes there at a  distance. I’ve been learning how to make videos with sound added to pictures and such. I have a long way to go. This week Melissa recorded a couple of piano tracks for hymns for this Sunday. If all works out you’ll hear them with the words on screen. The plan for tomorrow, March 29th is to live stream again, but now a little later – at 10:30 a.m.

All three of our churches are concerned about finances with no opportunity to ‘pass the plate’. Probably the best way to give is to write a cheque to the church of your choice and mail it to:

It’s not a great idea to mail cash. For those of you who bank online you can send an ‘etransfer’ to Haliburton United (i.e. if it’s for Haliburton United). The instructions for that will be on the website or sent to you for the asking by email. This was set up just yesterday by Jan Tedford.

I hear that many are checking in on each other by phone and email. That’s wonderful. Please continue as in this way you “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2, NKJV).
