Today we welcome Nick Adams to lead our three churches in worship. Harry is on vacation and spending Father’s Day with family.

STRAWBERRY SUPPER – ALL YOU CAN EAT – Ingoldsby United Church – 1741 Ingoldsby Road Saturday, June 22 – 4:00  to 7:00 pm – variety of delicious salads, rolls, roast beef, ham, strawberry shortcake, tea, coffee, juice. Adults – $18.00, Children 6 – 12 – $9.00, Children 5 & Under – Free.  Bazaar, craft and bake tables beginning at 9:00 am. Please join us.

There is now a basket in the foyer of Haliburton UC for the collection of pop can tabs. Kendra (aka Yolanda), has taken on a community project on her own. Her goal is to collect enough pop can tabs before she starts high school (in September 2022) to purchase a wheelchair and bless someone in need. In addition to the collection basket at the church, she has also arranged drop off locations at J.D. Hodgson school and The Dysart Municipal Office. Please spread the word.

Monarch Bible Camp is coming to Haliburton United the week of Aug 12-16 from 9 am to 4 pm. Registration forms and information available at monarchbiblecamp.com.

Community

St. George’s Choir presents “A Spring Concert” from Sacred to Broadway Friday June 21 at 7:30 pm and Saturday June 22 at 2:00 pm at St. George’s Anglican Church 617 Mountain St., Haliburton. Admission by donation at the door.

West Guilford Baptist Church is organizing a trip, through DeNure Tours, to Lancaster, Pennsylvania – 4 days – Monday, November 18 through Thursday November 21, 2019. For more information contact Garry Burk at 705-457-2357.

Ladies Afternoon Bible Study & Fellowship is taking a break for the summer and will resume after Labour Day. For more information call Wanda.

Haliburton UC

Pot Luck Lunch: We will be having Pot Luck Lunch on Sunday, June 23. Help is needed with clean up. Thanks. Mary McKee, who usually sets up for our pot luck lunches, is not available to do so in June. Therefore we are looking for 2 or 3 people to do that. Call the office 705-457-1891 if this is something you could help with.

Stewardship and Mission Offering:  The extra monthly Mission for June is Child Evangelism Fellowship. We thank you for your support and ask that you mark your envelope when giving to this extra mission. Take note of the Stewardship and Mission bulletin board in the foyer. Information will be posted as it becomes available.

Bible studies:

For a time of study, prayer and fellowship, please join us:

• Wednesday Morning Bible Study in the library 10 – 11:30 a.m.
• Fridays: Women to Women Bible Study in the library from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. All women are welcome to join us at any time. For info call the office 705-457-1891.

Library: The library is open during office hours except when being used for meetings. The librarian is available Fridays from 10 to 11:30 a.m. to help in choosing a book, DVD or teaching material (holidays excluded).

Coffee is available every Sunday before church in the foyer outside of the Fellowship Room.  All are welcome to partake and enjoy!
