Sunday, December 24: Christmas Eve Service at 7:00 p.m. only at Haliburton United Church and online (no morning service). No services at Lochlin and Ingoldsby. To watch online, visit our YouTube channel.

Sunday, December 31: New Year’s Eve Morning Service hosted by Ingoldsby United Church for the Haliburton Pastoral Charge (no services at Lochlin and Haliburton or online). The event begins with music and carols at 9:30 a.m. followed by the service at 10:00 a.m. and lunch after the service. This will be Ingoldsby’s final service; for more information, click here.

Current Events and Notices

Monthly mission for December for Haliburton UC: Heat Bank Haliburton County. For details and to learn how to donate, visit the Monthly Missions page on the HUC website.

Sundays: Regular services at all churches and online via live stream on YouTube at 11:15 a.m.

Tuesdays: Minds in Motion from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. (NOTE time change) at Haliburton UC. The group is on break for the holidays. This Alzheimer’s Society program is designed to provide physical activity and mental and social stimulation. $30/couple for 8 weeks. Call Jennifer at 705-748-5131 x225.

Tuesdays: The Ecumenical Bible Study group is on hiatus until January 9. The group meets from 7:00 to 8:00 pm on Zoom using the simple Ignacious method of reading and praying with the scripture. If you would be interested in joining the group online, let Jean Tyler know by calling 705-457-2214.

Wednesdays: Women to Women Bible Study. The group meets online at 3:00 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month via Zoom. The group has paused for the holiday season and will resume meetings on January 24. For more information email Lisa.

Sunday School: A selection of lessons and interactive materials is available for download on the Sunday School page for use at home to encourage kids in their faith. Classes are on hiatus.
